Ignition Coils and Power Pack Servicing Removal
1Remove the rectifierregulator cover and ignition coverDisconnect the timing sensor plug
2Separate both Packard connectors from the power pack
3Starting with the top ignition coil, disconnect the primary leads and spark plug leadsRemove the screws securing the ignition coil to the cylinder block
4After removing the bottom ignition coil screws, remove the ignition coil and power pack from the cylinder block
INote Do not attempt to remove the radio frequency shield from
the power pack
1Position the power pack and bottom ignition coilPosition the lock washerflat washerand power pack ground lead on the bottom port ignition coil screwInstall screw finger tight2Place lock washer and flat washer on bottom starboard ignition coil screw and install the screwTighten both ignition coil screws to 50-95 inIbs(5,6-10,7 Nm)3Connect the primary leads and spark plug leads to the bottom ignition coil4Repeat Steps and for the remaining ignition coils[] 5Carefully install both Packard connectors6Connect the timing sensor plugInstall the rectifierregulator cover and ignition cover
