1641 23Slide the bearing housing retainer plate into position over the propeller shaft24Using OMC Retaining Ring Pliers, PI 331045, inrings are under extreme pressure during installationWear safety glasses and proceed with care to avoid unsnapping the ring from the pliersLook inside the gearcase and make sure that the retaining rings are seated in the grooves in the gearcase
