1Inspect bushing in the timer base and inspect powerhead timer base bossBoth surfaces must be free of dirt, metal chips, and scratchesf51 2Align adapter with threaded holes in powerheadSlotted area of adapter must face starboard side3Install adapter mounting screwsTorque screws to 48-60 in Ibs(5,5-7 Nm)1sl 4Apply OMC Moly Lube grease around powerhead boss and EJ timer base bushingand into retainer groove
