Ignition Component ReplacementCD IIAmp i twist and remove all spark plug leadsbeing replaced"" 1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing,

1612Remove the screws retaining the ignition component that is
rJl3UFIIf the charge coil or ignition module is being replaced, separate the bullet connectors underneath the ignition module
[!] 4Remove the wire clamp from the ignition plate

5Loosen the five ignition plate screwsLift the ignition plate from the powerhead6Remove the plate from bottom of the ignition plate
7Remove the leads from the spiral wrap and from the ignition component8Apply OMC Ultra Lock to the threads of the component retaining screwsLoosely install the new ignition component on the ignition plateConnect bullet connectors if necessaryf811gl9Route leads and install clamp
