Throttle Control Rod
1With the engine not running, ensure that the idle speed screw is firmly against its stop and both carburetor throttle plates are closed
f712Rotate the
socket on the throttle control rod to obtain 0.020 in(0,5 mm)gap between the throttle cam and cam follower
3Install the throttle control rod socket on throttle cam and verify gapWide Open Throttle Stop
[!] 1Advance the throttle lever to wide open position19l2The carburetor throttle shaft pins must be exactly vertical
at wide open throttle
'sl3Loosen the locknut and adjust the W.O.Tstop screw to
adjust pin orientation to exactly verticalopen throttle
19l4Tighten the locknut and recheck pin orientation at wide
