1 Steering Housing ServiceHBF2
Disassembly 1Remove the cover screws and lift off the cover2Cut motor wires at the center of each spliceif required
3Remove five long silver colored screws (locations markedL") securing rack assembly to steering housing
4Lift rack off of the pinion and remove the cable assembly from housing
m 5Remove adjustment ring set screws[] 6Push adjustment ring down, away from motor tube and bearingPush motor tube up to expose pinion set screw and pin[] 7Loosen pinion set screw (metric hex)Note that the triangle mark on the pinion flange is on the port side of the motor tube
