3Slide the adjustment ring, bearing, and race onto the motor tubeLubricate the bearing with OMC Triple-Guard grease
4Place the steering housing and mount ing tube assembly onto the motor tube
5Apply OMC Triple-Guard grease to the steering housing ball bearing and place it in the bearing cup
120 6Position the pinion on the motor tubeAlign the dent in the
motor tube with the set screw on the pinion7Install the retaining pin using suitable press

sure the electrical wires are not damaged by the retaining pin as it is pressed in place
8Install the driver on the pinion retaining pin
