Installation Adjustm ents Angle Adjustments

The electric outboard should be installed and adjusted so the motor tube is perpendicular to the water surface under normal operating conditionsTransom Mount Models]The stern brackets have five angle adjustment positions To change motor angle, push down on tilt button and move motor to different angle positionAdjustments should be made with the electric motor not runningBow Mount Models This adjustment should be made after making the motor-to-guide adjustmentHeight Adjustment

Motor height should be adjusted just low enough to eliminate propeller noise and ventilationThe top edge of propeller should be approximately eight inches below water surface

When adjusting motor height, hold the motor tubemounting tube firmly to avoid injury from sudden dropping of motor

Loosen motor tube clampsteering friction screw Loosen height adjustment knob and adjust height as necessaryTighten height adjustment knob to hold motor height, and readjust steering friction screw as desiredBow MountHand Control Models
