Starter Circuit Check ChartRemote Note Battery must be fully charged
Procedure Remove black lead from ground at G)Connect voltmeter between G) and common engine groundTurn key to START position Voltmeter should show battery voltageConnect meter at Turn key to START position
Result aIf no reading, go to Step
Check voltage between ground and G)Steps thru Remove starter to solenoid cable from (j) to prevent starter engagement while making checksbetween ground
bIf meter reads battery voltage, reconnect black lead to ground and go to Step
I!I Check voltage III and
aIf meter reads battery voltage, lead is open between G) and
INotel Steps thru Turn key OFF before connecting and disconnecting meterTurn key to START position after connecting
.bIf no reading, go to Step
