Starter Circuit Check Chart, 2030 Remote , INotel Battery must be fully charged
Procedure Remove black lead from ground at CD Connect oltmeter between CD and common engine ground Turn key to START positionVoltmeter should show battery voltageConnect meter at Turn key to START position
Result aIf no reading, go to Step
Check voltage between ground and CD Steps thru Remove starter to solenoid cable from (j) to prevent starter engagement while making checks
bIf meter reads battery vo ltage, reconnect black lead to ground and go to Step
Check voltage between ground and
aIf meter reads battery voltage, lead is open between CD and
INotel Steps thru Turn key OFF before connecting and disconnecting meterTurn key to START position after connecting
