Installation 1Inspect the starter mountIf the mounts are damaged or worn, replace as follows: Remove the mount using crescent wrench Apply OMC Locquic Primer and OMC Screw Lock to threads of new mount Tighten mount securely20 2Install caps on starter mounts3Install the starter lockout cable into the starter housingf21l 4Position the starter assembly onto the motorInstall the three starter housing retaining screwsThe short screw CD is installed on the port side of the starter housing Tighten screws to torque of 48-72 in Ibs(5,4-8 Nm) i must not function when shift handle is in FORWARD or
