housing with flat side upAs the adjusting lever and shaft comes through the exhaust housing, install the shift rod lever CDSnap the shift shaft retainer Q) into placePlace new shift rod lever clip over the shift rod leverInstall and tighten the screw to torque of 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm).Bend the locking tab of the clip against the head of the screw
