1sl 8Remove the three screws retaining the idle relief mufflerRemove the mufflerDiscard the muffler gasket and seals from the screws9Remove the two remaining lower mount housing screws from the port lower mount housingSeparate and remove the port and starboard lower mount housingSlide the mount housing bumper from between the lower front mount and the exhaust housingr:J1l 10Remove the nuts and washers from the two upper side r;J

and the washer from the upper front mountSeparate the exhaust housing from the swivel bracket assembly
f131 12Remove the two screws retaining the lower motor cover bracket to the exhaust housing and remove the bracketRemove and discard the exhaust housing to lower engine cover sealr:J1l11Ql 13Remove the upper side mount.s and the lower front mount from the exhaust housmg f1Ol 14Remove the nuts from inside of the exhaust housing that retain both lower side mounts to the exhaust housing15Refer to Cleaning and Inspection at the beginning of this sectionAssembly and Installation If not otherwise specified, apply OMC Gasket Sealing Compound threads of all screwsf1Ol 1Apply OMC Gasket Sealing Compound to the threads of lower side mountsInstall the two lower side mounts Tighten the nuts to torque of 144-168 in Ibs(16-19 Nm)
