f712Remove the screws retaining the ignition component that is being replaced3Remove the wire clamp from the ignition plater:jl4Loosen the ignition plate screwsLift the ignition plate from the powerhead5Remove the plate from the bottom of the ignition plate6Remove the leads from the spiral wrap and from the ignition component7Apply OMC Ultra Lock to the threads of the component retaining screwsLoosely install the new ignition component on the ignition platef811gl8Route leads and install clampplateand spiral All component leads must be routed through clamp and plate in single layer, not twisted or crossed over another lead9Apply OMC Nut Lock to the threads of the ignition plate screwsInstall the ignition plate on the retainer plateTorque retaining screws to 25-35 inIbs(2,8-4,0 Nm)10Check for sufficient slack on ignition component leadsRoute component leads through wire clampsr;Q111Position OMC Locating Ring PIN 334994 over machined bosses on the ignition platePush the locating ring in toward the component to be installedHold the ring in place and pull the component out toward the ringTighten screws to 15-22 inIbs(1,6-2,4 Nm)12Repeat Step 11 for each component
