Tilt Mode or Shallow Water Drive Mode
Igl While running in the shallow water drive mode, or while the motor is tilted, the following valves and
seals are pressurized and must hold pressure: 1Shock absorber valves in the tilt cylinder piston 2Tilt piston seals 3Manual release valve 4Trim pistons seals 5Trim check valve 6Tilt check valve 7Trim-up relief valve At approximately 1500 psi (10300 kPa) the trim-up relief valve will open, allowing the fluid to return to the reservoir and the filter valve CD will open, replacing fluid to the top of the tilt cylinderThe tilt cylinder will retract, lowering the motor to the fully extended trim rodsRetraction of the trim pistons, under thrust, is prevented by the trimtilt separation valve Q) and the trim check valveThe expansion relief valve will remain closed
