Trim Sending Unit Adjustment 1Tilt the engine and engage the mooring bracketr.jl 2Temporarily, install PIN 387278 thrust rod in the No.3 f21 3Loosen the sending unit screws until only snug, so the send ing unit can be pivoted4Disengage the mooring bracketLower the engine against the thrust rodr:;l 5Observe the trim gaugeIf the needle does not show center positiontilt the engine up and adjust the sending unit by pivoting it up or down
6Lower the engine against the thrust rod to verify adjustmentRepeat Step 5, if necessary7After adjustment is correct, tilt the motor up, tighten the two sending unit screws, and remove the thrust rod
