Starter Circuit CheckRemote Control Models INotel Battery must be fully charged
Procedure Remove black lead from ground at G)Connect voltmeter between G) and common engine groundTurn key to START positionVoltmeter should show battery voltageConnect meter at START position
Result aIf no reading, go to Step
Check voltage between ground and G)Steps thru Remove starter to solenoid cable from (i) to prevent starter engagement while making checksvoltage between ground
bIf meter reads battery voltage, reconnect black lead to ground and go to Step
II Check
Turn key to
aIf meter reads battery voltage, lead is open between G) and
INotel Steps thru Turn key OFF before connecting and disconnecting meterTurn key to START position after connecting
