Power Pack Removal 1Separate the power pack connector(s)Twist and remove the primary lead covers from the ignition coils l=.J ground lead before removing any screws3Remove the screws and power packPower Pack Installation

1Clean the power pack mounting bosses to provide clean engine ground

l=.J lead where indicatedInstall the screws and tighten to torque
of 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)3Apply isopropyl alcohol to the Amphenol connectorsAlign flat areas and carefully plug togetherSecure with wire retainer where used4Apply light coating of OMC Triple-Guard grease to the opening of each primary lead cover and install the coversObserve proper wire routing and ignition timingrefer to Ignition Coil InstallationAfter replacing any major ignition component, verify correct maximum spark advance using the procedure outlined in Section 1
