Throttle Cam 1Attach the throttle cable to the throttle arm and secure throttle cable trunnion as described in Section 9 10 2Verify the throttle arm is firmly against its idle stop L!!J
3Hold the coupler shell on the coupler ball with light pressureRotate the cam follower and inspect the clearance between the follower and the throttle camIf the cam follower does not touch the cam and the clearance between the cam and follower is less than 0.010 in(0,25 mm), the adjustment is correct4If the adjustment is not correct, turn the shell further onto the link to increase the clearanceTurn the shell further off the link to decrease' the clearanceWhen the proper clearance is achieved, snap the shell coupler onto the throttle cam ball5To test this adjustment, slowly raise the remote control fast idle lever, and then return it to the RUN positionVerify the throttle arm is against its idle stop, and that there is approximately 0.010 in(0,25 mm) clearance between the throttle cam and cam followerWide Open Throttle Stop 1With the engine not running, manually advance the throttle lever to the wide open position
