Assembly Before beginning assembly procedures, refer to Cleaning and Inspecton, Page 6-4f151 1To install new forward bearing, assemble OMC Collar, PIN 115313, to OMCBearing and Seal Installer, PIN 115310Place the lettered side of the bearing to the collarSupport the nose of gearcase on block of wood on the floorUsing mallet, drive the forward bearing in until it is seated

Collar, PIN 115314, to OMC Bearing and Seal Installer, PIN 115310Place the lettered side of the bearing to the collarDrive the bearing in until the installer contacts the top of gearcase3Install the bearing spacer118l 4Install new upper driveshaft bearing using OMC Bearing and Seal Installer, PIN 115310Press against the lettered side of the bearing until the tool is seated on gearcaser.J7l 5Using No.3 retaining ring pliers, install bearing retaining ring with sharp side of ring facing outf191 6Install new driveshaft seal in gearcase using OMC Bearing and Seal Installer, PIN .115310Apply OMC Gasket Sealing Compoundto the casing ofthe sealUse malletto install the seal with the garter spring facing downward7Apply Scotch-Grip Rubber Adhesive 1300 to the outer surface of water tube grommetInstall water tube grommet
