Notel Use new gaskets and seals during assemblyf811gl 1If removed, install new upper and lower ball bearings using OMC Bearing Installer, PIN 115309When pressing on the bearings, support the crankshaft between the two counterweights and press against lettered side of the bearing2Apply coat of oil to wrist pin and wrist pin hole in piston r,Ql 3Insert wrist pin through either side of pistonOil wrist pin bearing and place into connecting rodPosition the connecting rod into piston with the arrow mark on piston top pointing to bottom of the crankshaftInstall wrist pin using suitable toolInstall new wrist pin retaining ringsf111 4Install piston ring on pistonSpread ring with ring expander just enough to slip it over the head of the piston and down into place5Coat the piston and cylinder bore with oil6Place the piston in cylinder blockMake certain that the ring is correctly positioned in its groove with respect to the dowel pinDamaged piston and broken ring may result from imperfect alignment of the ring gap and the dowel pin
