Ignition Plate Servicing3, 4 Removal
1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist and remove spark plug leads
2Remove the manual starter as described in Section 73Remove flywheelRefer to Flywheel Servicing
4Loosen three screws attaching ignition plate to retainer plate and disconnect springLift the ignition plate from the powerheadRemove throttle cable from ignition plate
5The retainer plate and support plate may be removed for service by removing screws from support plate and removing spring from retainer plate
