STEPRUNNING OUTPUT TEST
1Twist and remove primary leads from ignition coilsr:J6l2.atwist to install Stevens Instrument NoTS-77 terminal extenders, or equivalent, on Ignition cOIl primary postsr:J6l3Install primary leads on terminal extendersObserve proper wire routingOrangeblue primary lead must be connected to the No.1 ignition coilINotel Route all tester leads so they do not interfere with moving engine parts4Set peak-reading voltmeter to "NEG" and "500"r:J6l5C.onnect voltmeter red lead to No.1 terminal extenderConnect meter black lead to clean engme ground6Start engine and run under load at RPM where ignition problem exists Meter must show 200 volts or higher7Repeat Steps and for cylinder No.28If either cylinder shows less than 200 volts, test charge coilRefer to STEPCHARGE COIL TEST If charge coil tests good, replace the power pack9Remove terminal extendersInstall ignition coil primary leadsObserve proper wire routingOrangeblue primary lead must be connected to the No.1 ignition coilo
