27Remove the ball, shoe, springs, nut, and screw from the detent plate
Cleaning and Inspection

1Clean disassembled mechanical parts in solventInspect them and replace any that are worn or damaged2DO NOT clean electrical components in solventCheck continu ity of wiring and electrical parts with test light or an ohmmeterReplace any component that does not test OKAssembly

Failure to follow assembly instructions closely could result in remote control malfunction, causing sudden and unexpected loss of throttle or shift control
