and neutral switch cam from
19While applying pressure to the shift drive gear, remove retaining ring
20Remove shift drive gear, washer, and drive gear return spring from shaft21To remove remote control shaft from housing, remove retaining ring from shaftIf necessary, remove shaft from handle
22Pressing the shaft bushing from the outside of housing will remove bushing from housing23Using screwdriver, pry up and remove shift gear and arm assembly CD from housingWear safety glasses and use caution when removing shift gearThe detent spring is compressed and can fly out, causing injuryRemove shift arm washer Q), detent rollerdetent roller shoe (1), and detent spring from housingCleaning and Inspection 1Clean disassembled mechanical parts in solventInspect them and replace any that are worn or damaged2DO NOT clean electrical components in solventCheck continuity of wiring and electrical parts with test light or an ohmmeterReplace any component that does not test OK
