Disassembly
1Disconnect battery cables at the battery before servicing electrical systems, or risk injury from: burns or fire caused by shorted positive battery cable contact with moving parts if the engine is accidentally cranked or started2Move control handle to the NEUTRAL detent positionDisconnect the trim switch wires from the trim cable connector
3Remove handle cover and patch lock screw Remove control handleRemove three screws that retain flange to control and remove controlIf replacement of trim switch is required, follow Steps thru 12If not, go to Step 13
