Motor Speed TestAll Models
1For this test, leave the battery cables connected and submerge the motor in waterA propeller must be installed on motor to properly load motor for test

2Connect to 50 amp ammeter between the battery positive (+) terminal and the RED battery cable
3On 1224-Volt models, set selector switch to "24 V" position4Turn speed control switch slowly through each speed positionNote ammeter reading and if motor speed changes at each switch position The ammeter reading should be different, and the motor should operate at different speed at each switch position5If the electric motor does not operate at each switch position or if the ammeter reading or motor speed is not different at each switch position, note the exact symptoms Use these symptoms and the Trouble Check Charts on Pages 2-6 and 2-7 to determine what failed parts would lead to those symptoms
