10Remove steering housing set screws only if the housing is to be removed from the mounting tube, or if the bearing cup is to be removed
[]] 11Inspect bearing and cup Remove cup and steering housing by tapping the steering housing off of the mounting tube12Tap lower bearing cup off of mounting tube if cup is to be replacedAssembly
[]] 1Push steering housing onto top of mounting tube, aligning holesTap bearing cup into mounting tube with holes alignedInstall steering housing screwsTighten to 8-11 inIbs(0,9-1,2 Nm)
INote Always turn self-tapping screw backwards until it drops
into the original threadsbefore turning it forward Ifthe screw is allowed to cut new threads with each use, eventually too little material is left to hold the screw
