Arc Suppressor24 Volt Foot Control Models
INote To avoid damaging components or troubleshooting equipment, disconnect the battery cables before proceeding
1Remove the foot pedal hinge pinDrive the pin out, away from the speed control switch
3To avoid serious shock or meter damage, touch wire to both of the arc suppressor leads momentarily to discharge the capacitorRemove one arc suppressor lead from terminal strip or speed control switch
2Turn the speed control switch to OFF
4Connect ohmmeter to arc suppressor leads: The meter must show no continuity(The meter may show momentary continuity, then go to infinity(0) If meter shows continuity, replace arc suppressor
