2Select the correct gauge and collar:
V4OMC Gauge PIN 328366 and OMC Collar PIN 328362 V6OMC Gauge PIN 328367 and OMC Collar PIN 328362
Slide the collar onto the driveshaft with large end in contact with the bearing housing
711sl 4Insert the assembled driveshaft into the tool base and
5Rotate the driveshaft several revolutions to seat bearings
tighten preload screw against the driveshaft until groove on the spring-loaded plunger is flush with end ofthreadsTighten locking ring on preload screw
19l 6Lay the tool base on its sidePosition the correct shim gauge
