Ohmmeter Test
INotel All ohmmeter tests must be performed with the engine not running1Calibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scale
1121 2Attach ohmmeter black lead to timer base connector, terminal "E"112l 3Alternately, attach ohmmeter red lead to each terminal in the timer base connectorObserve ohmmeter reading at each connection
Meter must show 40 10 ohmsf13l 4To test for grounded condition, connect ohmmeter, alternately, between each timer base terminal location and clean engine ground Meter must show high reading If meter shows low reading, locate and repair ground or replace timer base5Complete all circuits disconnected during this test
