AC Lighting Coil Resistance Check f31 1Calibrate an ohmmeter on appropriate scaleConnect it between yellowgrey and yellow leads Meter must show 0.86 0.05 Of41 2Connect meter between yellowgrey leads Meter must show 1.21 0.02 O'5l 3Calibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scaleConnect one lead to clean engine ground Probe each of the connector pins with the other ohmmeter jumper wire The ohmmeter should show high reading If the ohmmeter reading is low, repair the grounded coil lead or replace the stator assemblyRefer to Section for ignition plate servicing
