f51 3Pull the starter rope out far enough to tie slipknot in the ropePry the starter rope anchor out of the handleRemove the handle, release the slipknot, and ease the pulley back until the rewind spring is fully unwound'6l 4Hold the lockout in place on the underside of the housing, and remove the spindle screwf715Remove the retaining ring, and lift pawl and links as an assemblyRemove the spindle 6Hold the pulley in the starter housing while turning the starter over, leg down Hold fingers clear ofthe pulley, and jar the starter housing against bench to dislodge the rewind spring and pulley&Safety Related 7-4
