Disassembly To simplify reassembly, layout the various screws and clamps in the order of their proper location ,1{;
rv 1Remove the three screws retaining the crankcasethe seals head to powerheadUsing mallet and punch, drive
from the crankcase headDiscard the O-ring and seals2Remove the exhaust cover screwsIf necessary, tap the exhaust cover edge with rawhide malletRemove the inner and outer exhaust covers; carefully separate the piecesCheck the inner exhaust cover for pitting and flatnessIf pitting exists or the cover is warped, discard it and replace with new cover during reassembly
