Ohmmeter Test
INotel All ohmmeter tests must be performed with the engine NOT running
[!] 1Insert jumper wires in ignition plate connector, terminals "A" and "0"[!] 2Calibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scaleConnect between jumpersMeter must show:
9.915E, SEL, REL 9.915R, 20-30 760 80 900 100
r,Q'1 3To test .for grounded condition, connect ohmmeter alternately between each jumper and clean engme ground Any needle movement indicates charge coil or leads are grounded Locate and repair ground, or replace charge coil4Complete all circuits disconnected during this test
