Ignition Component Replacement
'" 1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing,
twist and remove all spark plug leads
rJl 2Remove the screws retaining the ignition component that is being replaced
3Remove the wire clamp from the ignition plate
rv from the powerheadplate screwsLift the ignition plate 4Loosen the five ignition
1!1 5Remove the plate from the bottom of the ignition plate6Remove the leads from the spiral wrap and from the ignition component
7Apply OMC Ultra Lock to the threads of the component
