Off-Season Storage Use the following procedure to properly prepare Johnson and Evinrude outboards for extended periods of nonuseThese steps are intended to protect the engine during storage and simplify the preseason servicing procedure1Stabilize the engine's fuel supply with OMCfuel conditionerAdd one ounce of OMCfuel conditioner for every gallon of gasolineUse flushing attachment if you operate the engine on trailer or dolly to prevent engine or water pump damage

When using flushing attachment, always remove engine's propeller before starting engine to prevent accidental contact with moving propeller2Run the engine at approximately 1500 RPM for five minutes to ensure that the entire fuel supply system and the engine's carburetors are full of stabilized fuel3Prepare an enginestorage mixture" in shop V6 six gallon tank PI 397767The mixture should include: Five Two One One gallons of fuel quarts of OMC Storage Fogging Oil pint of Evinrude or Johnson Outboard Lubricant pint of OMC 2+4 fuel conditioner
