capDiscard the scraperscraper and a-ring have been removed from the end cap, the outside a-ring can be removedClean the cap thoroughlyDiscard the a-ringsr:;:;] eOil and install new a-ring and scraper CD in the end capThe scraper is installed with the lip facing out and can easily be pressed in with your fingers or with large flat tool in the palm of your hand
1211 dPry the a-ring out of the end cap using flat toolOnce the
threads on the tilt rodUsing OMC Tilt Cylinder Seal Protector, PIN 326005, slide the end cap onto the rod
1231 fOil and install new a-ring Q) on the outside ofthe end cap1241 gUsing wire brush, clean all Locktite material from the 1251 hClean the threads on the rod with OMC Locquic PrimerSlide the piston onto the rodPlace new small a-ring over the threads
