Power Pack Removal
1Separate the power pack connector(s)Twist and remove the primary lead covers from the ignition coils
Noti.ce the position of the power pack ground lead before removmg any screws
3Remove the screws and power packPower Pack Installation
1Clean the power pack mounting bosses to provide clean engine groundr:;J 2Carefully install the power pack ground lead where indicated and install the retaining screwsTighten the screws to torque of 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)
3Apply isopropyl alcohol to the Amphenol connectorsAlign flat areas and carefully plug togetherSecure with wire retainer where used4Lightly coat the openings of the primary lead covers and install them on ignition coil terminalsObserve proper wire routing and ignition timingrefer to Ignition Coil InstallationAfter replacing any major ignition component, verify correct maximum spark advance using the procedure outlined in Section 1
