Cam Follower Pickup
I!TI 1Snap the throttle link coupler shell off the throttle cam ballr:J2l 2While holding the cam follower against the throttle cam, move the throttle cam until embossed mark on the cam aligns with center of the cam followerTighten the cam follower screw

Idle Timing
on the cam should align with center of the cam follower as tip of the amplifier begins to move
operating conditions with the correct propeller installedThe boat's movement must be unrestrainedThe boat must not be tied to dock or trailer1Reconnect the spark plug leadsConnect timing light to the No1 cylinder spark plug lead2Start the engine and allow it to reach normal operating temperatureShift to FORWARD gearVerify the throttle arm is against its idle stop3The engine timing pointer must align with correct degree mark on the flywheel gridIdle Timing
