the driveshaft bearing housing onto the driveshaft
24Pull up on the shift rod to engage FORWARD gearTurn the gearcase upside down by rotating the holding fixtureBe sure any excess grease is removed from the pinion needle bearingsDegrease inside taper of the pinionPosition the pinion in the gearcase25Degrease the driveshaft taper and install the driveshaft26Lightly coat the threads of the pinion nut with outboard
