Unthread the shift rod from the detent leverRemove the six screws, shift rod, and cover assembly from the gearcaseDiscard the cover gasketRemove the two O-rings from inside the cover and discard
[!!] 14Remove the propeller shaft assembly from the gearcase114115Insert small screwdriver under one end of the clutch
