STEPRUNNING OUTPUT TEST
1Remove ignition cover2Twist and remove primary leads from ignition coilsf1l twist to install Stevens Instrument NoTS-77 terminal extenders, or equivalent, to Ignition coli primary posts
[i] 4Install primary leads on terminal extenders
[Notel Route all tester leads so they do not interfere with moving engine parts5Set peak-reading voltmeter to "POS" and "500"f1l 6Connect meter red lead to No.1 terminal extenderConnect meter black lead to clean engine ground7Start engine and run under load at RPM where ignition problem exists: Meter must show 130 volts or higher8Repeat Steps and for remaining cylinders: If one or more cylinders show low output, go to STEPCHARGE COIL TEST If one or more cylinders show no output, go to STEPPOWER PACK TEST9Remove terminal extendersInstall ignition coil primary leadsObserve proper wire routing and ignition timing
