[II 1Verify that the spark lever screw is still loosef21 2With the engine not running, move the spark lever and throttle linkage rearward3Slowly move the throttle linkage forward until the throttle cam just touches its rollerr:;] 4Hold the throttle linkage in position and slowly move the spark lever forward until the roller just touches the spark cam
] 5Carefully tighten the spark lever screw6To verify adjustment, move linkage rearward and then slowly forwardTimer base and carburetor linkage must begin to move at exactly the same time7Install the timing wheel cover and the air silencer8Install the spark plugs and tighten them to torque of 18-20 ftIbs(24-27 Nm)9Install the throttle cable as described in Section 8
