1Remove manual starter and flywheelRefer to Flywheel Servicing, Page 3-B2Remove the two ignition module mounting screws19l 3Disconnect the brown and brownyellow lead bullet connectors4Calibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scaleConnect to charge coil brown and brownyellow leads Meter must show 900 100 ohms5Check for grounded conditioncalibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scale and connect its black lead to clean engine groundAlternately connect ohmmeter red lead to charge coil brown and brownyellow leads Meter must show high reading6Replace charge coil if your test results vary7If charge coil tests good, replace ignition moduleRefer to Ignition Component Replacement, Page 3-19BInstall flywheelRefer to Flywheel Servicing, Page 3-B9Complete all circuits disconnected during this testObserve proper ignition coil primary lead routingOrangeblue primary lead must be connected to the No.1 ignition coil&
