1Lubricate spring and spring cavity with OMC Triple-Guard grease or Lubriplate 7772Lubricate outside diameter of spindle with OMC Triple-Guard grease or Lubriplate 777 and install through pulley1sl3Place spring in slot of pulley as shownPosition pulley with spring on housing with spring going through gate of spring cavityEngage rib in center of housing with slot in spindle4Clean threads of spindle retaining screw to remove adhesiveSpray threads with OMC Locquic PrimerPlace lock washer on screwApply OMC Nut Lockto threads of screw and install screwTighten screw to torque of 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)
