i twist and remove all spark plug leads2Remove engine covers

3Remove the manual starterSee Section 74Remove the flywheelSee Removal of FlywheelIf servicing only the breaker points, they can be checked and replaced without removing armature plate from motor5To service condenser and driver coil, remove armature plate
LJ screws 6Disconnect ignition coil primary and stop switch leads7Lift armature plate from crankcaseDisassembly All components may be removed from the armature plate by removing the attaching screwsFor cleaning, inspection, testing, and repair, refer to Component TestingAssembly Assemble components which were removed from the magneto armature plateFollow the reverse order of disassembly and pay particu lar attention to the followi ng: 1Press the driver coil outward during installation of the coil2Make sure that new oiler wick is installed on armature plate3Connect the blue lead to breaker points
