Disassembly
1Mark line on the front and rear parting lines of motor
Remove the two thru-bolts from motorDiscard the -rings from thru bolts
3Remove the drive end head assembly from the armatureDiscard a-ring from drive end head assemblyIfthe bearing in the drive end head assembly is worn or damaged, replace the assemblyThe two seals in the drive end head assembly are serviceableIf seals are worn or damaged, remove and discard seals4Remove the fiber thrust washer from the drive end of the armatureMotors with the armature shaft adjustment screw will only have one washer5Remove the motor field assembly
