Power Supply Continuity Test24 Foot Control Models
To avoid damaging components or troubleshooting equipment, disconnect the battery cables before proceeding1Use continuity light or ohmmeter calibrated on high ohms scale to test continuity2Connect one meter lead to electric outboard RED battery cableLeave this meter lead connected for all the following tests 3Move 12 24 switch to 24 V
4 Connect second meter lead to RED 12 ga lead at 12 24 switch The meter must show continuity If meter shows no continuity, repair or replace battery cables
Connect second meter lead to RED 16 ga lead at onoff switch The meter must show continuity If meter shows no continuity, replace 12 24 switch or wiring
