r;J 1Remove both seals using OMC Puller Bridge PIN 432127 432129Position the plate on top the housing to support the bridge, and tighten the jaws securely behind the lower sealInspect bearings in placeIf bearing is removed for any reason, it must be discarded
2Remove either beari ng usi ng OMC Pu lIer Bridge PIN 432127 and OMC Large Puller Jaws PIN 432129Rest the puller plate on top of the housing to support the bridge, and tighten the jaws securely behind the bearing3Discard the bearing housing O-ringClean the housing and bearings in solvent, and dry thoroughlyIf bearings were not replaced, rotate the needles with your fingers to check for freedom of movementInspect O-ring groove, and sand off any sharp edges that would cut the O-ring and prevent its sealing V4Thoroughly clean the threads of the four bearing housing retaining screwsDiscard the retaining screws' sealsrJl 4Inspect the bearing housing anodeReplace anode if it has eroded to two-thirds its original size
